Wow, wow, wow! I don't know if I would have been able to finish my project as quickly and as beautifully without this. Truly made my newspaper project fun and a delight. And the templates make this easily the best thing I've purchased. Having some already created ideas make making my own spreads so much easier.

I’ve got a creaking old version of Illustrator CS5. I paid full whack for it at the time and I object to paying for the subscription model of CC. While my moral objections mean I don’t pay any more to use Illustrator, it means I miss out badly on third party plugins, nearly all of which are for cs6 and above. But thanks to Artifex, he still remembers us legacy users and this brush set was absolute dream to install and use for my sailor Jerry inspired tattoo artwork. Thanks very much, will definitely be buying more brushes and stuff.

This is a brilliant tool to add to your box - 100% recommended! I love the wide variety of vector shapes and they are so helpful to use as a base to customise. One of the first things I had to create with them was a logo using jigsaw puzzle pieces. I used the puzzle piece provided, and moved the nodes to adapt it to my own design, but having the basic shape already created, just saved me time from having to create it from scratch and get the dimensions right. I love this set and hope that there will be an extension at some point (hint, hint!) with more shapes to add to the library!

I've never bought anything like this before, and although I've been using Affinity for a while I feel like I don't understand the program very well, so I was afraid I'd have trouble figuring out how to actually use this kit. But I love the stained glass look so much I decided to give it a try, and I'm so happy I did. The instructions are clear enough for even beginners to follow, and once you have an idea what to do, it's easy to make many beautiful designs. I also appreciate the easily located and easily understood information about licenses, since I wanted to use the kit in designing fabrics to sell on Spoonflower.

Another reviewer asked about changing the leading color; it is possible (I've figured it out). The real trick to working with this stained glass kit is to follow the instructions regarding setting up different shapes and layers, and then to make sure you have the correct objects (not layers) selected, and the correct tools, to achieve the effect you want.

The only information I wanted when contemplating the purchase that wasn't totally clear to me was whether you can change the glass colors. The answer is yes, sort of. That is, the styles do come in specific colors, but there are a lot of choices so you can probably find something close to what you want. Then, if you play around with adjustments, it is possible to alter the colors. I need to teach myself more about this. You can also, of course, color any shapes you like with the usual color fill tools rather than using the included glass styles, and thanks to the leading style (if you've applied it), it still looks like stained glass thanks to the shading etc.

I was so pleased with the stained glass kit that I bought several more of Artifex Forge's kits. They all come with clear instructions and reference images, which is a big help. I'm really happy with this kit, and with this creator. Thanks!

Comprehensive Paper Craft Collection is a treasure trove for designing. The colour sets are very beautiful: brights, neutrals, pastels, and metallics. The collection pairs perfectly with Artifex Forge brushes such as the "Neon" brush set to work "magic! and Spirograph brushes to spark imaginative styling. So much to choose from. Delightful! Great brushes and instructions for using them.

I have only created one piece with this set yet, but so far, I've had a lot of fun with it. It is easy to use, flexible, and I'm very proud of the one piece I've made with it so far (which took me about 2h, but that's because I played around with everything the instructions mentioned (textures, colors, orientation). I think the time-consuming part of creating a stained glass design is creating the polygons. With this set, the rest of the work (coloring) is super quick and gives realistic and beautiful results!

I haven't had the chance to explore all the brushes in this HUGE bundle, but the ones I've used are beautifully crafted and will be enormously useful. This is going to save me SO much time. I'm grateful for the care and attention that's gone in to making these.

It’s the original Zentangle! This brush set is tons of fun. After purchasing the pack, in less than 20 minutes I had a really cool Mandala design. Endless possibilities!

I purchased my first Artifex Forge brushes from the Affinity Store, and it wasn’t until I visited the Artifex Forge store that I saw how many really cool brushes Jeremy has. I had a Spirograph as a kid so this brush set was a no-brainer. It’s easy to use, and lot’s of fun. And unlike Spirograph - there's no paper to refill, no push-pins to get jabbed with and no cheap pens that clog!

Fantastic brushes! I was looking for something to add some interest and texture to a simple character and these brushes did an amazing job.

I have purchased several brush sets from Artifex Forge and they are always interesting and work very well. In this instance, there are even separate brushes for closed shapes and one's for unclosed meaning to outline a closed shape or a line. The attention to detail is awesome.

All of my Artifex Forge purchases have become my go to resources! I'm slowly amassing them all! This one has been great for aging and stylizing my latest artistic obession, vintage ads and posters. It is so simple to add just the right texture and feel to these projects. Just a few clicks and brushstrokes and my projects brim with vintage goodness!

Sometimes it feels like Procreate gets all the fun toys, but I am so glad that these wonderful resources are specifically designed for and work seamlessly with Affinity Designer. As a mosaic artist I find this a little hard to use and not as straightforward as I thought it was going to be. The brushes are really nice and it is helpful that it comes with instruction pages

Great brushes, patterns and textures. They were relatively easy for a novice like me to get into procreate, thanks to the detailed instructions. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to create mosaic designs or just make fauxsaics. My struggle is learning more about procreate so I can use these brushes to better effect. I think they are going to help me enormously with designing mosaic projects.

A great kit which saved me a bunch of time I could have lost trying to make a custom mask with spatter/ watercolour brushes. When I was confused why it wasn't working immediately I checked the included documentation and it made the solution perfectly clear (reverse path) instantly! Great kit, great documentation and, as always, great service.

Newspaper templates are common; VINTAGE newspaper templates are rare and this one is very well done!

I wanted to do a Blueprint style t-shirt design and this helped me get up and running pretty quickly. There is still a small learning curve on how to control the vector brushes. (Note: I am not a professional designs.)

Since finding Artifex Forge I have purchased various sets, brushes and kits. I was on my way back for more and thought I would leave them a review. I cannot recommend them enough! Artifex forge over delivers and I have yet to find a product I didn’t absolutely love. With lack of decent affinity products I avoided affinity for awhile, then I found them and it is changing not only how I create but has also inspired me to try new styles and designs. I am so happy I have found their store as I can officially leave adobe and endless subscriptions behind. This set just like all the others is complete and so versatile that you will use parts of it in various projects. I can recommend this set as well as any other affinity product they offer (I have purchased most of them). Whether for a project, a hobby or to try something new you will have fully working and as described assets!

Loving this brush set. I had some problems with trying to get one of the brushes to work and contacted seller. He was very kind and answered swiftly with fixes (which were on my end) . Even provided me with a different file to check what was wrong. Can’t wait to draw many things with this set.

Love it! The only thing that could have been better would be if the edge stamps defaulted to the size of the canvas. Otherwise, this was so easy and pleasant to use - made something I love on the first go!

The brush shape and the way they respond to movement/pressure makes it easy to get an "authentic linocut" look. I'm moving my stylus like I would a carving tool. The ink and edge textures in the pack also give a nice finishing touch.

I appreciate the huge variety of shapes and angles available in the liner brushes, covering the different blades for a tool. There is a brush for every kind of edge or detail you would want to capture. Compared with the default Procreate brushes I was using before, I also like how the linocut brushes do not change opacity as you change pressure, so I can always get the bold line that I want.

The postage stamp collection tool is a great asset for creating vintage stamps images, labels and more! The outline brushes are perfect – finally, brushes that bring just enough visual texture to basic lines! The fill styles are super useful, particularly in conjunction with the Aff Des shape builder tool. No more making curves, applying brushes and then masking them! So many possibilities but still learning to get the individual tiles to work. Backgrounds and mosaic fill are great. I'm a mosaic artist that gave up the artform for more portable creative outlets and am hoping I can recreate some old mosaics using these brushes. Better than several other mosaic tile stamps/brushes out there.

This is a great scene creator. Simple, beautiful, and the kid loves it. It would be nice if these illustrations will be provided as assets for affinity designer/photo. I arranged all the illustrations as assets for personal use. As a result, the creative process became easier.

I picked up these and the Vintage brushes in a pack awhile back and I use them often. It's a fantastic way to do a quick sketch and make it look nicer and more professional. I've just started with the Chunky Marker pack as well, and it's doing well for me.
