Halftones (or screen-tones) can be found when looking closely at many forms of printed material. The effect occurs when various sized dots of ink are overlaid to build up color and tone. This iconic look was not initially designed to be a feature but over time it’s become a classic design aspect in it’s own right. And now, with The Artifex Forge’s Halftone Brushes and patterns, you can ‘paint’ with this effect to create beautiful designs and illustrations, in Affinity!
Here’s what’s included in the pack:
- The Brushes
Scatter Halftone – (The first 6 in the preview) Perfect for a messy screen-tone look. By adjusting the settings, you can change the size, scatter and rotation. For use in the Pixel Studio.
Line Halftone – for a neater finish. These brushes distribute the screen-tones evenly along a stroke with minimal distortion. For use in the Vector Studio.
- The Repeat Patterns
Flood areas with halftones quickly and easily. These are colored black but you can adjust the colors easily. Supplied as one-click Affinity Styles, for ease of use.
