The Art Deco Templates, Art Deco Elements and Art Deco Border Builder fall under The Artifex Forge Graphics License. The Art Deco Grainy Gradients & Color Palettes, Art Deco Patterns and Art Deco Type Effects fall under The Artifex Forge Tools License.
When purchasing this product you will be prompted to accept the terms and conditions set out in the two licenses. Read on for the license overview.
For a product purchased under the ‘Graphics License’, you may:
- Use the product in an unlimited number of personal projects.
- Use the product in commercial projects for sale for either yourself or a client.
- Sell up to 5000 units of any product/s generated using an individual Artifex Forge graphic resource.
The ‘Graphics License’ prohibits:
- Sub-licensing, selling, giving away or re-distribution of the product in any capacity.
- Re-use of the resources to create similar or competing resources for sale.
- Use of the resources in projects for a company whose annual revenue is more than USD 25 million per annum. In this instance, an extended license is required.
- The creation of a copyrighted or trademarked design, illustration or product using Artifex Forge resources, as the copyright belongs to The Artifex Forge Limited.
- The use of resources on their own (without modification) as a standalone design, except in a personal project.
For a product purchased under the ‘Tools License’, you may:
- Use the product in an unlimited number of personal projects.
- Use the product in an unlimited number of commercial projects for sale for either yourself or a client.
- The license allows usage for one person only. You may purchase additional licenses to cover more seats.
The Tools License Prohibits:
- Sub-licensing, selling, giving away or re-distribution of the product in any capacity.
- Supplying files to an end-user or client, where the original file is included or extractable.
- Use of the resources in projects for a company whose annual revenue is more than USD 25 million per annum.
- Conversion of the product so it works with other software (For example: if you bought an Illustrator brush set, you may not convert it so that it becomes a usable brush set in Affinity Designer or Procreate). Exporting art created using the resources to other software, is allowed.
