As a follow-up to the Artifex Forge’s incredibly successful graphic Rope Brushes – I am proud to present the most life-like set of rope, string, baker’s twine and rustic twine vector brushes ever made! All are sourced from real ropes, string etc and retain their quirky, rustic qualities.
On your behalf, the Artifex Forge has been building up a now extensive rope collection, all to get the right rope textures to turn into the perfect vector brushes. After careful processing, these flexible rope brushes are perfect for a whole variety of projects and themes including, but not limited to, food packaging, craft projects, wedding designs, rustic giftware or nautical.
You can also make your own re-posable ropes – something that rope graphics just don’t allow for.

What’s included?
- Rope brushes
Supplied with frayed and flat ends and a mixture of both. Also included is a version of the brushes that you can re-color. Sourced from real ropes and supplied as vector brushes.
- Bakers Twine Brushes
Supplied in 11 colors. Instructions are included on how to adjust the colors to suit your own projects.
- String Brushes
Supplied with frayed and flat ends and a mixture of both. Also included is a version of the brushes that you can re-color. Sourced from real string texture.
- Rustic Twine Brushes
Supplied with frayed and flat ends and a mixture of both. Also included is a version of the vector brushes that you can re-color.
All brushes are also supplied as pressure-sensitive versions for those who use graphics tablets.

This will help you find the right brushes for the task at hand quickly.
- Example files
I’ve included the rope titling, gift tags and knots, borders and dividers for you to examine or use in your designs. All brushes are live so you can backwards engineer the files with ease.
