Just a repeat of my previous review... I forgot to upload an image. This is an example of my artwork. On the left, the halftones I created myself, and on the right, Artifex Forge's Vintage Engraved Photo Converter. Artifex Forge's come way closer to the look I was going for. In the past my method was to create wavy lines in Affinity Designer, apply a gaussian blur, then threshold until it looked right. Now I can have more fun and do a better job.

I have laboriously created my own unique halftones over the years, so I appreciate this product very much. It's better than anything I've created, with a truly exquisite range of options. I absolutely love it. I do another thing that many people wouldn't bother with, in that I convert the pixel version to vector, so I can play with it in vectorland. I still use Inkscape for the conversion because Affinity 3's Trace tool, though most welcome, falls short with the more intricate line-tracing. I've downloaded a few of your bits and pieces over the years and always find them fun and useful, but this one surpasses all.

This is a fantastic resource for creating digital engravings with authentic-looking and quite beautiful results. The effects are super customizable and precise... and using this tool is super fun!
As usual, the included instructions are extremely clear and thorough, and the video instructions are a great bonus.
I honestly can't believe the sheer amount of options available to create the exact type of engraving you want. The flexibility for customization not only for the engraving type but also for the color treatment has kept me busy for hours. And I've found it to be the perfect complement to both the Vintage Postage Stamp Collection and the A Century of Color Swatches resources.
Awesome, practical, and (did I mention?) fun! Thank you! 😊
